Its just 38kms away from Calicut. One can reach there via Balussery or via Thamarassery. The public transport to Vayalada is less, so you have to drive to reach there. Taxis are available from Calicut or Balussery at affordable prices. You should carry food items since shops are countable there. But you will get the traditional Kozhikodan 'uppilittath'(salted fruits) there. Its yummy and tasty.
